Kids SereniKids Calming Tincture for Children - 100ml

A gentle blend designed for children who need a little extra support

Regular price £1999

A gentle herbal tincture for children and teens who need a little extra support.

Some children wear their worry openly. Others go quiet, or cling at the school gate, or lie awake with a busy mind long after lights out. Exam weeks, a new class, a house move, a change in routine: these are the moments when parents most often notice that their child seems less settled than usual.

SereniKids was formulated for exactly those stretches. It brings together calming herbs, nourishing tonics and gentle emotional remedies traditionally used to help children feel more grounded and secure. It is not a quick fix and it is not designed to be one. It works gradually, supporting a smoother passage through daily challenges and periods where emotions feel bigger than usual.

Some children respond quite quickly and seem calmer within days. Others settle more slowly over several weeks. Both are normal. Full dosage guidance is included with every bottle, and the amount can be adjusted to suit your child.

Please speak to us before use if your child is taking any medication or has a diagnosed medical condition, and check with your GP or a qualified practitioner first for children under two. Chamomile can cause a reaction in children sensitive to plants in the daisy family. Call the clinic on 01625 54 9000 if you would like to talk it through.

About children's tinctures

Children's herbal tinctures are gentle liquid extracts prepared using a small amount of alcohol. The alcohol draws out the plant constituents that matter, including the aromatic oils, resins, alkaloids and flavonoids. Once diluted in water, milk or juice, the alcohol content becomes extremely low, usually less than that found naturally in ripe fruit, and is considered suitable for children at these doses.

Mix into milk, water or juice. If your child wants a little sweetness, add a touch of honey, agave or sugar, or put a small dab of honey on the back of their hand to lick after sipping. Honey is only suitable for children over one year old.

Wondering why we favour tinctures over capsules for children? It comes down to taste receptors, which we explain in this article.
