Sustainability

At the core of our practice lies a deep respect for both people and the planet. We believe that the herbs we use and the products we create should honour the natural world and the communities that grow them. Our sustainability policy reflects this belief and we minimise environmental impact while supporting ethical sourcing, fair labour and long-term ecological balance.

What Sustainability Means to Us

Ecological balance - protecting biodiversity, soil health and ecosystems.

Ethical sourcing and fair livelihoods for growers, harvesters and producers.

Responsible packaging and waste reduction. We aim to deliver in glass bottles where possible.

Ethical and Responsible Sourcing

We source herbs from suppliers and growers who observe good agricultural and wild-harvest practices - favouring organic or sustainably cultivated herbs whenever possible. We do not claim our herbal tinctures are 100% organic, as weather and seasons can massively affect supply. Our aim is to respect soil health, biodiversity and the long-term viability of medicinal plants.

We pay particular attention to wild-harvested species, drawing on current ecological research which highlights the vulnerability of many medicinal plants due to overharvesting and environmental pressures

Minimising Environmental Footprint

We strive to use environmentally friendly materials whenever possible. For example, whenever feasible, we opt for recyclable or compostable packaging and encourage reuse and recycling.

Community Respect

Sustainability extends beyond ecology. We believe in fair compensation and respectful practices throughout the supply chain - from growers and harvesters to everyone involved in bringing our herbs to you. Ethical sourcing includes social justice: safe working conditions, fair pay and community well-being.

Traceability and Sustainability

We document our sources for every single herbal batch we create.

Many medicinal and aromatic plants are under threat globally. Sustainable sourcing helps protect vulnerable species and the ecosystems they support. Our plants are our Medicines and natures Helpers - we do what we can to ensure they are always here for us to enjoy.

We believe in clean production  - we don’t want to add to client toxicity with contaminants, pesticides or environmental toxins. As herbalists, our work is rooted in respect for plant intelligence, ecological balance and long-term health for both people and the planet.
