Loosens phlegm, soothes the throat and chest and gently warms the body to help ‘sweat it out’. Assists in thinning ‘stuck’ mucous to ease congestion. The herbal actions are expectorant, antibacterial, antiviral and decongesting to relieve coughing, wheezing and a ‘tight’ or ‘heavy’ chest. This formula can help the bronchial cilia to recover quickly.

Ingredients: White Horehound, Wild Cherry, Coltsfoot, Elecampane, Elderflower, Liquorice

Dosage

60 drops in a little water or juice 3 X Daily

For children under 10 years -  20 drops 3-5 times daily (under 10's).

White Horehound: Traditionally used in cough syrup. Increases the secretion of thinner mucous to break up congestion. Cooling and drying it is great for coughing, wheezing, difficulty breathing. Stimulates digestion.  

Wild Cherry: Has a long traditional use in cough remedies - why so many cough remedies are cherry flavoured! Cooling, helps to expel phlegm, soothes and dries mucous membranes. Also supports digestion.  

Coltsfoot: Cooling and moistening it is good for chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma and emphysema. Can decrease the time for bronchial cilia to recover after damage from smoking. Increases immunity.  

Elecampagne: Outstanding remedy for clearing phlegm and mucous from the lungs, urinary and digestive system. Specific for chronic irritation and infection of the respiratory system. Contains inulin which feeds friendly bacteria in the colon.  

Elderflower: Promotes perspiration and reduces inflammation - good for acute ailments. Anti-viral properties and shortens the severity and duration of flu symptoms. Works well as an upper-respiratory decongestant.  

Liquorice : A strong mucosal anti-inflammatory that soothes mucous membranes such as respiratory and gastric. Eases dry coughs and sore throats.
