Sometimes, through lack of exercise or not eating properly, undigested foods can ferment in the gut. This can result in feeling bloated, constipated and sluggish, with a toxic gut.  Co-Ton is a highly effective herbal formula that stimulates and normalises bowel movements whilst reducing bloating. It helps to cleanse and strengthen the bowel and is suitable for most types of bowel issues.

Ingredients: Cascara Sagrada, Barberry, Red Raspberry, Turkey Rhubarb, Fennel, Ginger, Cayenne, Lobelia.

Dosage

Start slowly, 1 capsule with Breakfast and 1 with Evening meal. Increase as necessary until 2/3 bowel movements a day are achieved.

Ingredients Detailed

Cascara Sagrada: A purgative bitter which increases bile flow and peristalsis of the colon. Known for its effectiveness in relieving constipation and cleaning the bowel.

Barberry: A bitter tonic herb which stimulates the liver and bile to aid digestion and detoxify. Helps to maintain normal gut flora and combats infections such as E coli. Antiparasitic – active against fungi, viruses, worms – antimicrobial.

Red Raspberry: Protects the gut lining from irritation and inflammation, relieves nausea and diarrhoea.

Turkey Rhubarb: A bitter to stimulate bowel movement and increase peristalsis along the alimentary canal.

Fennel: Enhances digestion and absorption especially of fatty foods. Eases bloating, griping and indigestion pains – settles the stomach. Decongests the liver.

Ginger: Warming digestive stimulant, improves digestion. Relieves pain, spasm, heartburn, wind and nausea. Reduces toxin accumulation and enhances immunity.

Cayenne: Known as a circulatory stimulant, it enhances digestion and absorption. Also combats parasites, gut infections, relieves wind, nausea and diarrhoea, clears toxins and supports immunity.

Lobelia: A powerful antispasmodic herb which helps relieve tension. Also helps clear lymphatic congestion so supports detoxification. It is a great harmonising herb to help all the herbs in this formula work synergistically.
