This is a very effective tincture for those who struggle to drop off and stay asleep.

The formula contains herbs known as sedatives and hypnotics. They have a deep-acting effect on the nervous system to calm, relax and “switch off” an over-active mind and body.

Ingredients: German Chamomile, Lemon balm, Wild lettuce, Passionflower, Valerian, Hops

  • 100ml - 30 drops (1.5ml) in a little water half an hour before bedtime, and again if awaking before 3am.
  • 200ml / 300ml - 5ml (1tsp) in a little water half an hour before bedtime, and again if awaking before 3am.

Chamomile: Calms anxiety and tension, promotes sleep, relieves headaches and pain such as migraine and gout and soothes digestion.  

Lemon balm: Introduced to Britain by the Romans.Calms nervous palpitations and arrhythmias. Reduces hypertension. Sedative and analgesic, reduces tension, anxiety, boosts mood, improves memory and concentration. Also soothes digestion and stimulates liver and gall bladder.  

Wild lettuce: Sedative and antispasmodic so great for inducing sleep. Bitters stimulate bile flow from the liver to aid elimination of toxins and digestion of fats. Calming for anxiety, panic attacks, hyperactivity, restlessness and agitation. Relieves pain and tension in tight muscles.  

Passion flower: Soothes stress related digestive complaints. Relaxes tension and nervous palpitations. Improves circulation and nutrition to the nerves. Calms nervous anxiety, restlessness and agitation, improves concentration, non-addictive to treat chronic insomnia, soothes muscle pain and muscular aches.  

Valerian: Antispasmodic, sedative and nerve tonic, calms nervous palpitations and excellent for insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks. Strengthens and calms the heart. Relieves muscle tension.  

Hops: Sedative and bitters enhance digestion. Relieves tension and anxiety. Anti-inflammatory for joint and muscle pain.
