Kids Mucous Relief - 100ml Tincture

Natural Support for a Child's Respiratory System

Regular price £1899

Mucous-Relief is a gentle herbal blend for little ones who are struggling with congestion, lingering mucus, or that heavy, blocked feeling in the chest or sinuses. Parents often notice small body whispers such as snuffly breathing, a rattly chest, difficulty clearing mucus, or a child becoming more unsettled when lying down. These subtle signs can be helpful indicators that the respiratory system needs a little soft, natural support.

This blend is designed to help loosen congestion, calm irritation and support clearer, more comfortable breathing. It works gradually and gently, making it suitable for children of all ages. The tincture can be added to milk feeds, water, juice, or stirred into a small amount of food, and for children who prefer sweetness it can be mixed with honey for those over one year old, or with a little agave syrup or sugar.

Additional

Children’s herbal tinctures are gentle liquid herbal extracts that have been prepared using a small amount of alcohol. The alcohol helps to draw out the important plant constituents that create the therapeutic effect, such as the aromatic oils, resins, alkaloids and flavonoids. Once diluted in water, milk or juice, the alcohol content becomes extremely low, usually less than the alcohol naturally found in ripe fruit or everyday foods, and is considered safe for children at these doses. Each tincture can be mixed into milk, water or juice. If your child prefers a little extra sweetness, you can add a touch of honey, agave syrup or sugar, or simply place a small dab of honey on the back of the hand for them to lick after sipping their herbal mixture. Honey should only be used for children over 1 year of age.
